Specialty coffee is at its best 5-30 days after roasting. Under 5 days is too fresh for espresso (CO2 still present); past 6 weeks it starts to lose aroma. Store in a sealed bag, away from light and humidity.
In an airtight bag, at room temperature (18-22°C), away from light, heat, and humidity. NOT in the fridge or freezer — condensation damages the beans. One-way valve containers (Airscape, Fellow Atmos) are ideal.
Ground coffee loses its aroma in 24-48 hours through oxidation. Whole beans last 4-6 weeks. We recommend investing in a grinder and buying whole beans — it makes the biggest difference in final quality.
Coffee that comes from a single farm, cooperative, or small region. Unlike blends (mix of origins), single origin tells you exactly the country, region, farm, altitude, and bean variety. See more in our glossary.
Yes, but pick coffees with a sweet profile and full body (Brazil, Peru, Indonesia). Acidic coffees with floral notes (Ethiopia, Tanzania) are better on filter. For a home cappuccino, we recommend a 1:3 ratio (36g espresso + 100ml steamed milk).
All are 100% Arabica, so less caffeine than commercial Robusta.
Specialty coffee is bought at 2-5x the C-market price, ensuring fair pay to farmers. Careful processing, hand selection, small lots, and weekly roasting all increase costs — and quality in the cup.
Orders placed Monday-Wednesday are roasted, packaged, and shipped within 24-48 hours. Thursday-Sunday orders ship the following Monday or Tuesday. Couriers deliver within 1-2 working days nationwide.
Opened and consumed coffee can't be returned (food hygiene). Sealed coffee can be returned within 14 days. If you're not happy, write to [email protected] and we'll find a solution — we believe every customer should be happy with the coffee on their shelf.
