Rwanda has been reborn as a specialty origin in the last 20 years, after investments in modern washing stations. Bourbon Mayaguez and Jackson varieties grow on East African hills at over 1.700m, producing coffees with bright acidity and floral notes (hibiscus, blackcurrants, red oranges).
