Uganda is unique — Robusta grows here naturally (one of the few places in the world with indigenous Robusta). Beyond high-quality Robusta, Uganda produces excellent Arabica in the Bugisu (Mt. Elgon) and Rwenzori regions. Cooperatives and modern exporters are professionalizing the industry.
